[Anthill-pro] Preventing two builds from running
atthesametime onthe same branch?

Are you running 3.4.x? As was posted earlier it now handles the
collision issue of two workflows running in the same space. I'm still
on 3.3.x (soon to upgrade)

Dan

That's exactly what I'm getting at. I set quiet period to ~3min usually
but once I changed the setting from Changelog to Repository it now eats
the extra triggers and works well.

It should, but in order for the builds to be effective for us we need to
keep the Quiet Period to a reasonable amount. Currently 10 minutes.
Our builds take ~20 minutes to complete. So we could have a second
build kicking off before the first is finished.
I toyed with increasing the Quiet Period to 25 minutes, but that could
be 50 minutes to wait for a build after a check-in if just one developer
checks in after another. I have 15 developers working on this
particular code branch so it's possible to not get a build for over an
hour. This was not acceptable.

Dan

Doesn't the 'Repository Triggered' quiet period also swallow up extra
jobs? Isn't that the preferred way to approach this?

As an alternative, in the 3.4 versions Anthill will by default prevent
any two jobs from executing in the same working directory on the same
machine.
