[Anthill-pro] Environment var

I have a Generic job with a step of the "Shell" type. In the Command
Line field I'd like to have part of the path specified by an environment
variable. I've used the notations $APPS_CONTROL_ROOT_DIR,
${APPS_CONTROL_ROOT_DIR} and ${env/APPS_CONTROL_ROOT_DIR} , but in each
case anthill just treats the entry as a literal string. In the log you
can see that the environment variable exists and is available, here's
the log for that step which shows the unexpanded environment variable:

command line: ${env/APPS_CONTROL_ROOT_DIR}/rc/plusloans stop
command work dir: /apps/plusloans/deploy
command environment:
APPS_CONTROL_ROOT_DIR=/apps/control/ecmcdev

Any idea how I get the environment variable to expand in the command
line?
