The message was an example I got from running the command against my 
LDAP server, you would expect to see the address of your ldap server, of 
course.
We run our internal AnthillPro instance against LDAP as well and we have 
not had a problem so far.
The reason why I asked you to do this experiment was that the root cause 
in the stack trace you sent us was a connection timeout. I checked the 
sun source code and the place where this exception comes from is where 
the ldap client is attempting to open a socket to the ldap server (host 
and port are logged in the exception as well) and it fails. The fact 
that it fails with connection timeout vs host not found or connection 
refused leads me to believe that there is something (maybe a firewall or 
a router) between your AnthillPro server and your LDAP server that 
discards the connection requests.
Can you log in as admin and see if any of the agents are available and 
if so can you access their properties page?
Is there any kind of anti virus software that might be blocking 
AnthillPro from establishing outgoing connections thinking it is a new 
app after the upgrade?
