Sorry, I forgot to mention that the remoting library information can be
found at

/server/opt/remoting

And the /remoting /scripting URLS are for versions 3.3.1 and newer.

You can access the API documentation by pointing your URL to /remoting
and /scripting

For example

http://localhost:8080/scripting  

This will work for versions 3.1 and newer.
