Greetings and felicitations,
I'm a new Anthill Pro user and there is a dearth of documentation around
here about the product. Working on upgrading to get to the latest
version. Anyway...
I'm trying to upgrade to Ant v.1.7.0. We store all of our ant versions
for Anthill Pro in /home/builder/AnthillPro/contrib/apache-ant-1.x.x.
We have been using ant 1.6.4 for all of our builds but I want to phase
in 1.7.
I've created a new Ant Configuration in AHP that points to
${anthillpro.home}/contrib/apache-ant-1.7.0. I set the test build I'm
using to use the new Ant Configuration. When I look at the AHP logs, I
find ANT_HOME=/home/builder/AnthillPro/contrib/apache-ant-1.7.0, which
is as it should be. However, I had a problem getting a taskdef to run
based on files in ant's lib directory. I put an <echoproperties/> in
the build script and I find things like:
ant.home=/home/builder/AnthillPro/contrib/apache-ant-1.6.4
java.class.path=/home/builder/AnthillPro/contrib/apache-ant-1.6.4/lib/an
t-launcher.jar\:...
ant.version=Apache Ant version 1.6.4 compiled on May 19 2005
env.ANT_HOME=/home/builder/AnthillPro/contrib/apache-ant-1.6.4
in the logs. No wonder the taskdef didn't work - couldn't find the jar!
Anyway, besides creating the new Ant Configuration in AHP, is there
anything else I need to do to get an AHP build to use the new Ant?
Thanks,
Tom Loy
