[Anthill-pro] High Availability

Ryan,
Thanks. I don't see a need to change any property files but perhaps you
could enlighten me. We bind to 0.0.0.0, the IP is not the IP of the box
but the content switch and DNS name. Both map var\jos off to NAS and
Codestation is also routed to NAS.
What am I missing?

Curtis,
Zipping up and moving install to Sorry server (and changing all requisite
property files appropriately) would work.
You also should be able to upgrade all servers with the normal process
since the database contains separate versioning information within itself.
If you would like I can track down a list of the files you will need to
hand edit when copying the installation.

I need some advise on how to proceed in loading my Sorry servers in our HA
environments.
We have the primaries loaded against a Oracle DB with Codestation being
stored on a NAS file system. The server is configured to think it is on
the IP of the content switch and the matching DNS name.
My conundrum is in loading the sorry servers I cannot do a regular install
as the DB already exist. Should I just try and ZIP up my install and move
it to my Sorry server? We are consistent in our layout so once it has been
'installed' as a service I could see this working.
I understand that AHP does not support an Active-Active configuration so
no worries there.
How should I approach future updates? Do the 'upgrades' typically run
scripts against the DB and if so will they be benign if run a second time
against my Sorry server?
