[Anthill-pro] build artifact retrieval

Just a question about retrieval of artifacts from a build life;

Currently, one of my projects is configured to create about 50 artifact
files (objects derived from source, such as compiled dll's/executables,
etc...) It looks like the dependency mechanism will work well for
retrieving these artifacts for usage within other builds. However, I
frequently have cases where these artifacts would be useful to have
exported from the ALA server onto a developer's machine. Although there
is a download link with each individual artifact file, this will get
rather cumbersome for our larger projects. Is there the equivalent of a
"download all" link or function which would just download all of the
artifacts from a build life?

Two alternatives that I see are either:

1.       share the ALA artifact repository directory structure;
although this would get the files available to the developers (currently
they are used to simply using a file copy from a HA server I setup), I
see this route as potentially having problems with naming/paths.

2. Alternately, it seems like this could probably be done using a
separate workflow/job within the originating project which could query
the user re: where to place artifacts, and then use a 'resolve my
artifacts' step.

I plan to see if I can implement #2 this afternoon; would this fit with
Anthill's recommendations, or is there another way that this should be
done?

Thanks,

Aaron
