Aaron,
The good news is, in the upcoming release of AnthillPro 4, we will have Job
Libraries, and Workflow Libraries available for use. There will also be a
script library, where you can reuse your scripts for other projects. I hope
this has the functionality that you are looking for. I will pass along the
suggestion about being able to reuse steps as well.
For your side question, the Environment Variable will be available one the
step has actually been invoked on the agent.
