[Anthill-pro] Deleting Library Jobs/Workflows

Hey Mikal,

I'm sure you've looked, but just to be sure - if you edit the library
workflow and look under the name and description bit there is a properties
block. Make sure there are no properties defined here.

What exactly is the error you are getting?

Mark.

Cheers Mark

I've tried what you say, the workflows were never actually used and I've
search every possible area to no avail.

If I detach the job from the lifecycle model I can get rid of the job, but
the library workflow still remains. I might just rename and re-use the
workflow for something else if it cannot be deleted.

Looks to be a missing feature in AHP.

I have seen this as well. If the error message says something about a
foreign key (if I remember correctly), it means the workflow you are
trying
to delete has properties connected to it. They must be stored in a
different table or something in the database. I think Anthill should be
smart enough to figure this out, but you can get around it by going into
the workflow you want to delete and manually deleting all of the
properties, then deleting the workflow.

If you are getting a message about the workflow being using in builds or
jobs, chances are it probably is. I would go to the search page and make
sure it is absolutely unused by searching for it on every one of the tabs
there.

I get this as well. I've gone through all of our build history and
everything has been deleted that ever used them. But it still complains
when I try to delete the jobs and workflows from the Administration
page...

Hi,

We've got a number of library Jobs and Workflows that are unused and
require deletion. Every time I try to delete the workflows it says they
are
in use by various projects - but they aren't.

How can these be removed? Have we got them forever?

Cheers,

Mike
