[Anthill-pro] Can we set our own agent.id property?

Okay, that's exactly what my tests seemed to show. That's good; this
will really simplify our lives. The other related issue is how to
automate the addition of multiple agents simultaneously. We're about to
add 50+ agents and each one needs to be placed in the appropriate
environment and have the proper security settings assigned. It seems we
have to do this one agent at a time, and this can get very tedious for
large numbers of agents. Is there any way to automate this process?

Peter,

Yes you can set it. It is best to set it during the installation or just

after installation and before first starting the agent. We only ask that

you make it unique.

Change the id of an existing agent will make it appear as if a new agent

is installed and the old one will not be usable.
