 I might be in the weeds on this but we have virtually never seen this
condition, until recently. In our stage environment we purposely are
running with very little memory in attempt to try some JVM parameters to
restart should it run out of memory. While our parameters  did not seem
to do their job I am now wondering (a loud) if it is basically a
resource issue that can bring on this condition. Seems to me, very
strange things can happen when it runs OOM or disk space.
