[Anthill-pro] What happens if you have two agents with the same
name?

We have a somewhat unique problem. We have a reservation system in place
where our test severs can be signed out by engineers who need to do some
testing. Part of the reservation process is to select which OS they
want, which can be either FreeBSD or one of several flavors of Linux. We
have the Anthill agent installed on each OS type, with the name of the
agent being the name of the host. So, let's say a tester signs out box X
and requests FreeBSD. If that box is currently running Linux the system
will be rebooted and when it comes up with it will be magically switched
to running FreeBSD. From Anthill's perspective it will detect that agent
X has gone offline during the OS switchover, but once the system has
rebooted the agent will come back online.
We've had a few issues with this system we've setup, mainly when an
agent boots with a different IP address than what the server previously
knew it as. What we are seeing happen is the Anthill server shows two
entries for a given agent X, one online and one offline, and when we try
to run a secondary job against this agent it can sometimes fail saying
"there aren't enough agents online". For the most part this system is
working well for us, but I'm wondering what the ramifications are of
having two agents with the same name but different IP addresses?
