[Anthill] reg text file which keeps track of versions

Hi friends,

This is Sandhya here, and I handle builds and version controls in our company. In Anthill OS, 
there is a file which needs to be checked in to the versioning system for keeping track of the 
previous version. When we start building a project, the current version is displayed using this 
file.

Is there any way by which I can avoid checking this file into the repository ?
