[Anthill] PVCS vlog and vcs fail on spaces

Hi,

I'm sure that this has been asked before, but I failed to find a definitive
answer.

PVCS commands vlog and vcs suppose to read a list of files from the file.tmp
created previously in myscript.pcli and act on the files listed in the
file.tmp.
All works fine until a name of a file contains a space. At which point these
tools (vlog and vcs) parse the name as two (or more, depending on number of
spaces) names and consequently fail. 

This is an example of the command: 
vlog -d<from_date>*<to_date> @file.tmp

And an example of output

vlog: warning, cannot locate archive for workfile
"F:\PVCS_Archive\Project\archives\Shop".
vlog: warning, cannot locate archive for workfile "Assistant".
vlog: warning, cannot locate archive for workfile "Stage".
vlog: warning, cannot locate archive for workfile "2\prototype"

for the name of the file as F:\PVCS_Archive\Project\archives\Shop Assistant
Stage 2\prototype

I don't see Merant fixing that on request so, perhaps Anthill could use an
alternative mechanism. Or perhaps, there is one already?
