[Anthill] Perforce checkout error?

Do you know what would cause this error to occur?  I imagine it has
something to do with the anthill perforce adapter not being able to open
the version file for editing.  I haven't ever got this error while
testing on a windows box.  I have the same settings configured on the
UNIX box as the windows one in regard to configuration of Perforce.
