Seems it was a combination of a bug in the build script and the xdoclet 
tags using invalid relative paths.

In anycase, we just updated anthill to the latest release with ant 1.6.2 
and now ALL xdoclet based projects fail all over the place ( although 
oddly, only on the "build server", we setup another machine with 
resin/anthill/ant1.6.2 and that all builds fine.

Oddness prevails :(
