Technical Lead Software Developer * 50% Coaching / 50% Technical

placement of top IT talent in Northeast Ohio and beyond.  We're currently
seeking an Application Technical Lead that's looking to make the next step
up in their career.

 

In this opportunity, you will be responsible for 50% coaching / mentoring
junior level web developers and 50% technical Object Oriented Web
development, software development (actual coding), and troubleshooting
analysis for large web service layered enterprise solutions

Opportunities include:

.        Coaching and mentoring a team of 3-5 Web Application Developers in
object-oriented programming & development (Java, C++, SOA, etc.)

.        Responsible for delivering high-quality server side website
functionality consistent with client requirements and with a high degree of
quality.

.        Responsible for delivering core functionality that allows the
websites to scale to required limits.

.        Responsible for creating, implementing and continuously improving
the company's software development process.

.        Responsible for developing new service base architecture for
websites.

.        Utilize experience developing systems in a SOA framework 

.        Prepare technical design options; consult with hardware and
software technicians on options and strategies.

.        Prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment



 

Key Requirements:

.         Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, and 5+ years
applicable experience.

.         Strong experience with C++, Java, OOP/OOD, and/or J2EE.  Python
experience a plus.

.         Technical development experience with the ability to excel in a
blended approach of web development and mentoring. 

.         Demonstrated ability to successfully initiate and implement
improvements

.         Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, customer service,
communications, and presentation skills, including experience in dealing
with senior management

.         Display strong technical writing and oral presentation skills

.         Expertise in server side web centric projects is a plus
