products including the award-winning Quicken. As a Staff Software Engineer
on our fast paced team you will be designing, developing, and enhancing
products that make a major difference to our customers. 

Responsibilities: In this role you will: 
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers while delivering
software product solutions that "wow" the customer 
- Evaluate design and development proposals, identifying and suggesting
viable options 
- Design and Implement features 
- Ensure code is high quality 
- Document designs and code 
- Maintain software written by yourself and others 
- Lead projects and accurately assess project scope and address risks 
- Drive the feature/product functional design process 
- Participate in improving the development processes 
- Contribute towards improving product infrastructure, including usability,
reusability, performance and maintainability 

Qualifications : 	Qualifications: 
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) 
- 7+ years of experience working in a GUI development environment preferably
in a consumer application space 
- Exposure to MVC model architecture designs 
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design 
- Solid software engineering skills. 
- Solid experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets
- Experience with Weblogic or Websphere and JUnit
- Exposure to C#, .Net 2.0, SOA, and JBoss a plus
- Strong teamwork skills. Must possess the ability to effectively and
efficiently work in a cross-functional environment including Product
Managers, User Experience and QA 
- Must be comfortable working in a small team environment with short
development cycles and delivering v1 versions of the product. 
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, at all levels
to various audiences.
