Job Description: 

Innovar Group has an immediate need for a Sr. Software Engineer for a valued
client in Cleveland, OH. This is a 6 month contract. 

Responsibilities: 

. Provide the engineering interface to customers, mainline development teams
and our client's technical support teams . Ability to foster teamwork
between different technical teams working towards common goal . Ability to
cultivate good working relationships with customers and prospects .
Adaptable to rapidly shifting priorities . Able to work independently with
little supervision and can follow a project through to completion . Monitor
and participate in relevant newsgroup discussions on specific product
features and behavior . Verify customer reported product Defect escalations.
. Ability of distill complex implementations to a simplified model to aid in
diagnosis and root cause analysis. . Understand and scope out customer
requirements for Enhancement requests. . Design and develop the new features
and/or fixes to the existing product lines as a result of customer
escalations and internal product improvement requirements. . Write design
and functional specifications for the required product features and
enhancements. . Write and review technical documents. . Manage code lines
and build releases that are of High Quality. . Write engineering white
papers that aid customers in understanding the product set Skills: .
Independent Quick learner . 5 - 8 years work experience. . Intimate
Knowledge of Application Server Technology such as WLS, WSAS, Tomcat. . 

Must Know: java, J2EE, databases, SOA, Web Services, XML based technologies.
. Must know databases such as Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase. . Strong
technical background in OO software development and internet technologies. .
Strong analytical skills . Good communication skills both verbal and
written. 

. Requires periodic off hours availability and occasional travel to customer
sites. 

Education: . BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
